Understanding trust vs risk scores

Trust vs risk scores

Every destination gets a trust score and a risk score (0-100). They come from an explicit weighted model, not a black box.

  • Trust rewards positive signals: verified official status, valid HTTPS, an established domain.
  • Risk accumulates negative signals: impersonation, punycode, risky TLDs, suspicious redirects, very new domains, community reports.

A verified official site scores high trust and low risk. A lookalike domain scores low trust and high risk. The signal breakdown on each result shows every contribution.
